Testimonial Luncheon for Justice Art Brion

On April 11, a Testimonial Luncheon was also hosted by the firm of
Villanueva de Leon Hipolito and Tuason of Angeles City, Pampanga for
Justice Art at the Oasis Hotel in Clark field. Firm
Senior Partner Jose de Leon
was Brod Art’s batchmate at the Department of Labor and
Employment where they were both trained by the late great Blas Ople.
Atty. De Leon delivered the firm’s testimonial.
The firms other partners Cesar Villanueva ‘78, incumbent Dean of the
Ateneo School of Law and Efren
Hipolito, Jr. ’80 who are both Justice Art’s fraternity
brothers from Ateneo Law’s Fraternal Order of Utopia. Brod Jojo
organized the event and made sure that all the guests enjoyed a
sumptuous meal from the hotel’s renowned Japanese menu.

Brod Art’s DOLE colleagues, as well as law practitioners and other

and this writer represented the Fraternity. Atty. Jack who was also
Justice Art’s law professor in Ateneo drove all the way to Pampanga to
deliver a charismatic testimonial address to the fraternity’s second
Supreme Court Associate Justice. Brod Art then expressed his thanks and
as he is known to do, dedicated the honor to his beloved wife Antonietta,
whom he has repeatedly credited with all his achievements.
